The Scottish Vocational Qualification (SVQ) in Performing Engineering Operations at SCQF level 5 enables candidates to demonstrate competence in job related skills in their particular area of work and expertise.

You will study:
Safety Compliance: Understanding and adhering to statutory regulations and organisational safety requirements; Engineering Data Interpretation: Using and interpreting engineering data and documentation; Hand Fitting Techniques: Producing components using hand fitting techniques; Competence in Engineering Tasks: Demonstrating competence in completing engineering tasks related to your job role.

Entry Requirements

National 5 Maths and Engineering Science, Physics or a technological subject, or National 5 Applications of Maths and Engineering Science, Physics or a technological subject plus National 4 Maths. Interview and practical test.
