This course is delivered as part of Fife College Energy Transition Skills Hub, supported by Shell.

This comprehensive program offers essential skills for craft and technician levels, progression routes to higher education, and specialised knowledge in renewable engineering. Enhance your abilities in communication, numeracy, ICT, and problem-solving while opening doors to Engineering Technician status and beyond.

Units covered will include:
Electrical and mechanical principles; Renewable energy introduction; Renewable energy technology; Wind and solar power; Numeracy; IT skills.

Entry Requirements

National 4 English, Maths and a science or technological subject; or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 5. Interview and aptitude test.

Progression Routes

Progression onto NC Engineering Systems Level 6 or a Modern Apprenticeship.
