Want to take your electrical engineering career to the next level? This thorough two-year course will give you the skills to help you progress to electrical engineering in a future managerial role. You’ll learn about inspection, testing, safety and electricity power systems, as well as Engineering maths units 1-4, giving you a good grounding as an innovative, future-ready engineering professional.

This is a part time Day Release course for those already employed, with two days at college plus a twilight class.

You will complete a range of units such as:
Electrical installation design; Business awareness and continuing professional development; Electrical networks and resonance; Fundamentals of control systems and transducers; Power electronics; Electrical motor drive systems; Digital electronics; Engineering Mathematics 2 - 4; Electrical engineering graded unit 2 – Project based.
