Content

The UWS Graduate Apprenticeship BEng (Hons) Engineering Design & Manufacture is mostly delivered through work-based learning. Typically, you will spend one day every 1-2 weeks at UWS. While the work and learning you do in your workplace counts towards more than three quarters of your degree, you will also be a student at the new UWS Paisley campus. All Graduate Apprenticeship (GA) degrees require that applicants are employed in a relevant role in Scotland, and they have the right to live and work in Scotland.

You will develop an understanding of the concepts of Manufacturing Engineering Systems and the skills to analyse, design, and implement these systems in practice. You will also gain an understanding of strategic and operational management and learn how to apply technology, quality tools, and specific techniques in order to improve operations.
