This NC in Engineering Practice will give you a thorough grounding in the engineering principles required by anyone who is employed at technician level.

This course is ideal if you are contemplating a career in the servicing or manufacturing industries. Alternatively, if you are already working in engineering this course can give you skills to improve your career prospects.

Course content includes:
Welding; Engineering Assembly Skills; Engineering Workshop Skills; Milling and Turning; Communication; Maths; Applying Information Technology.

Entry Requirements

3 subjects at National 4 including English and Maths, or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 4.

Progression Routes

On successful completion of this course you can progress onto NC Engineering Systems (Level 6), specialising in either mechanical or electronic engineering.
