This advanced level course will allow you to develop your knowledge, understanding and skills in a range of core engineering principals and technologies.

You will acquire a wide range of transferrable skills, highly sought after by employers, ensuring you are well-equipped for progression to further study or direct entry to employment.

You will cover a wide range of important topics, subjects include: Thermofluids; Statics and Strength of Materials; Dynamics; Pneumatics and Hydraulics; Engineering Principles; Quality Management; Materials Selection; Communications; and Mathematics for Engineering.

Entry Requirements

Higher Maths or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 6.

Progression Routes

Direct entry to year 2 or 3 of an appropriate degree course at university.
