During this exciting multi-disciplinary HND, you’ll study core engineering concepts along with electrical and mechanical engineering, to give you the skills you need to become a flexible and creative engineer.

If you complete this course successfully, you can go onto further study at university, do an engineering apprenticeship or use your knowledge in a large range of engineering roles in industries as diverse as telecommunications, manufacturing, aerospace and robotics.

Contents Include:
Practical hands-on engineering skills; Mathematics; Engineering systems communication; Measurement and system monitoring; Investigating design; System modelling techniques; Fundamentals of control systems and electrical networks.

Entry Requirements

Higher Maths (Applications of Maths not accepted) or Physics, or NC Electrical and Mechanical Engineering Systems (Level 6) or other relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 6.
