This HND Electrical Engineering course is ideal for those who wish to develop their skills and competence to a higher level. It will equip you with the skills required to work in industrial, public sector and service organisations.

This course is for entry to Year 2 of HND Electrical Engineering. It is also available as a Day Release course for those who are already in employment, delivered two days at college with a twilight class included.

The Electrical Engineering industry is rapidly expanding and looking for technically competent individuals to lead and design exciting future contracts. This qualification will open the door for academic progression into university or create various promotion opportunities.

Electrical installation design; Business awareness and continuing professional development; Electrical networks and resonance; Fundamentals of control systems and transducers; Power electronics; Electrical motor drive systems; Digital electronics; Engineering Mathematics 2 - 4; Electrical engineering graded unit 2 – Project-based.
