The course is backed by the Scottish Electrical Charitable Training Trust (SECTT), which manages the electrical apprenticeship programme in Scotland with the electrical industry and selected colleges.

Electricians are in great demand, and this course is aimed at those who want to become fully-qualified electricians and to go on to apply for an electrician apprenticeship, or similar.

Entry Requirements

Relevant subjects at National 4; or relevant Foundation Apprenticeship. Interview.

Progression Routes

SECTT works with employers to secure full apprenticeships for students who successfully complete this 17-week course.
