In this course, you may:

examine materials for product selection; develop engineering measurement and drawing interpretation skills; explore principles of mechanical engineering for problem-solving; operate CAD systems for 2D engineering drawings; delve into CNC systems and CAD/CAM skills; understand value engineering for cost-effective product enhancement; learn engineering management theory that can be applied to effective engineering supervision, planning, production control, quality management, Health and Safety and risk assessment.

Entry Requirements

1 relevant Higher, or Foundation Apprenticeship Engineering, or NC Manufacturing Engineering, or other relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 6.
