Content includes:

mathematics; electric principles; direct current power supplies; various earth fault current protection methods; electrical test equipment; electrical wiring; electronics devices; using electronic test equipment; and, combinational logic.

Entry Requirements

4 subjects at National 5 including Maths or Physics, or SVQ Performing Engineering Operations (Electrical) at SCQF Level 5, or other relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 5. Interview.

Progression Routes

Relevant HNC or Modern Apprenticeship.
