This course is the stepping stone to an exciting career in engineering. You will study a variety of engineering subjects that include mechanical, systems, and renewables. This will provide you with the practical and analytical skills required for progression in the engineering industry or university level courses.

The course covers:

Engineering drawing including CAD and Inventor; Engineering Materials and their properties; Dynamics
Thermofluids; Statics; Engineering Maths; Renewable Energy; System Engineering; Electrical , Mechanical and Electromechanical Systems; Pneumatics and hydraulics Systems; Programmable Logic Controllers.

Entry Requirements

2 relevant Highers, or relevant Foundation Apprenticeship, or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 6. Interview and aptitude test.

Relevant HND; 2nd year entry to Engineering degree courses at Edinburgh Napier University
