The course will teach you, amongst other things, strength of materials (advanced), heat transfer and fluid mechanics, plant systems and applied industrial plant maintenance.
You will study:
Engineering practical skills; Plant systems; Heat transfer and fluid mechanics; Strength of materials; Design for manufacture; Engineering measurement; Engineering mathematics 3; Mechanical engineering Graded Unit 2 – Project based.
Higher Maths or Physics or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 6.
2nd or 3rd year of a relevant degree.
