HNC Business allows you to develop a broad range of skills required for jobs in a variety of industries and can lead to progression to second year in many universities. Throughout the course you will study economics, accounting, management, marketing, human resources, information technology and law. You will also learn key employability skills required for business and personal development.

HNC Business includes the following subjects:

Accounting for business: An introduction; Communications; Information technology; Marketing; Economics; Managing people and organisations; Business law; Entrepreneurial skills; Personal development planning; Graded unit examination; Digital technologies for administrators; Presentation skills.

Entry Requirements

1 Higher plus National 5 English and a Maths based subject, or relevant Foundation Apprenticeship or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 6.
