This course covers a very wide range of skills and knowledge required for preparing to work in the electrical industry, including health and safety, principles of electrical science, electrical installations, installation of wiring systems, and communication within the electrical industry. This course will include a selection of electrical practical and theory-based units.

Entry Requirements

3 subjects at National 4 including Maths and a science or technological subject, or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 4. Interview.

Progression Routes

Progression onto NC Building Services, NC Civil Engineering, NC Built Environment, NC Electrical Engineering or into an electrical apprenticeship.
