This Electrical Engineering course will equip you with a thorough understanding of the knowledge surrounding electrical engineering technologies. You'll gain an understanding of how electrical circuits work, the variety of components and systems that you may encounter in the Electrical Industry, together with the tools to work in the sector.

This is a nationally recognised award in electrical engineering. This course satisfies one key element of the Modern Apprenticeship framework for Engineering. It provides you with an excellent and thorough grounding in the disciplines that relate to electrical engineering.

If you're looking to be employed within the electrical engineering sector then this is an excellent qualification to support you becoming a technician or apprentice.

Entry Requirements

4 subjects at National 5 including Maths (Applications of Maths is not accepted) and a science subject, or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 5. Interview.
