Content includes:
In-depth knowledge of medical terminology and its applications; understanding roles, responsibilities, procedures, and legislation in hospital patient administration; development of strong IT and digital skills; enhancement of business communication skills for effective document production; emphasis on customer care and the application of bookkeeping skills; and, complete a work placement within a medical or healthcare setting.
1 Higher plus preferably English or Maths at National 5; or Foundation Apprenticeship Business Skills; or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 6.
