Year 1:
You will be introduced to the key business functions of Marketing, Finance, Accounting and Human Resource Management in Year 1. Through studying a range of modules you will develop the intellectual and practical skills you will need throughout your degree.

Year 2:
In this year, you can choose whether to continue with your studies based in Aberdeen or to broaden your horizons by spending Semester 1 or 2 studying abroad. Modules studied in this year build on the foundation business functions learned in Year 1 and contain a number of HRM specific modules including People, Policy and Practice and Operations Management.

Year 3:
In Year 3 you have four options, a year-long placement, an academic year at one of our partner institutions abroad, a taught route at Aberdeen Business School, or the ‘Connect to Business’ route, offering you flexibility to tailor your study to your own interests and career aspirations.

Year 4:
As a Management with HRM student, you will study advanced business modules in Corporate Ethics, Global Leadership and Business Strategy as well as more specialised HR related modules covering Employment Law and Organisational Development. You will also undertake a significant piece of independent HR research in the form of a thesis.

Widening access entry: 3 - 4 Highers at BBB or BBCC

Advanced entry to 2nd year available with Advanced Highers at BBC.
