You will study:
Communication core skill unit; Mathematics: Technician 1; Engineering: Applying information Technology; Statics; Engineering dynamics: An introduction; Thermofluids; Engineering dynamics; Strength of materials ; Engineering dimensional control; CAD for engineers; Engineering materials; Graphical engineering communications.

Entry Requirements

3 subjects at National 5 including Maths and a science or technological subject, or NC Mechanical Maintenance (Level 5), or other relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 5.

Progression Routes

Relevant HNC or HND, or an apprenticeship in the Mechanical, Manufacturing, Maintenance, Aerospace and Ship Building sectors.
