Content:
Hand fitting techniques for component production; Mechanical assembly processes; Working with composites and producing composite mouldings; Aircraft detail fitting activities and assembly production; Installation of various aircraft mechanical fasteners; and Essential, transferable skills for employment.
3 subjects at National 4, preferably English, Maths and Physics, Practical Metalworking or Practical Woodworking, or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 4. Entry subject to interview.
You could progress to a Level 6 course in Aeronautical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
