This course aims to improve the career prospects of students who are contemplating a career in the servicing or manufacturing industries or for students already working in the engineering industry.
This course will give you a thorough grounding in the electronic engineering principles required by people employed at technician level.

Communication; Mathematics: Craft 1; Engineering: Using Information Technology; Electrical Principles; Fundamental Electronics; Electronic Test Equipment and Measurement; Soldering and Circuit Assembly Techniques; Electronic Simulation and Testing Plus a range of optional units including:; Semiconductor Applications; Combinational Logic; Practical Electronics; Transformation and Rectification; Computer Aided Draughting; Mathematics: Craft 2.
3 subjects at National 4 including English and Maths; or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 4.
