The main purpose of this course is to develop your ability to apply analysis skills to the solution of engineering problems, and develop essential skills for engineering crafts.

The course provides a progression route for students continuing from an NC course at SCQF Level 5. Please note that there is no progression to HND level from this course.

This course provides you with the opportunity to enhance your existing skills by combining theory and practice to achieve a real understanding of specialist engineering subjects including:
Mechanical Engineering Principles; CAD for Engineering; Computer Numerical Control (CNC);
Pneumatics and Hydraulics; Value Engineering; Maths for Engineering; IT: Applications Software;
Communication: Practical Skills; Quality Management.

Relevant NC at SCQF Level 5 with Maths Craft 1.
