This course aims to provide you with the opportunity to develop high level practical CAD skills and industrial knowledge matching the needs of the industry. Some of the skillset you will develop includes 2D draughting to British and International standards, knowledge of the design process working through live team projects, 3D software packages for specific industries, 3D Printing and Scanning technologies and visualisation software. The HNC CADD is designed to give you the practical skills to become a successful draughtsperson/designer in the industry of your choosing.

Entry Requirements

1 Higher, or relevant subjects at National 5, or NQ Computer Aided Design and Technology; or other relevant NC or NQ. You will also be required to attend an interview.
