The HNC Business with Human Resource (HR) is designed to provide an alternative study option for those who are considering a career in Human Resource Management and want the necessary skills required to work within a business.

The course is suitable for learners wishing to gain an overall knowledge of what the Human Resource Function is and how Human Resource Management fits into an organisation. Learners will also gain an understanding of the historical changes within the Human Resource Function.

In addition learners will also gain valuable skills required to work within an organisation such as; marketing, economics, business law and accounting.

Entry Requirements

1 relevant Higher; or relevant subjects at National 5; or Foundation Apprenticeship Business Skills; or NQ Business and Management; or other relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 6.
