This course focuses on the underpinning knowledge and principles required for working in an industrial setting. The majority of students on this programme have relevant industrial experience or are undertaking work based training programmes simultaneously.

You will study:
Engineering Mathematics 1; Chemical Engineering: Applied Physical Chemistry; Chemical Engineering: Principles; Heat Transfer Theory and Practical Skills; Fluid Mechanics: Theory and Laboratory Skills; Industrial Chemicals: Processes and Products.

Entry Requirements

Higher Maths and a science subject, preferably Chemistry plus 4 subjects at National 4; or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 6. Interview and a group task.
