This course gives students the opportunity to learn about the different sectors within the business industry and is designed to give you a broad understanding of the functions of business and a clear understanding of the business environment.

This course is equivalent to first year of degree study and we have a number of articulation agreements which will allow you to progress on completion of your HNC/HND qualification. The course is offered as the first year of a three-year programme which will allow you to graduate with the Edinburgh Napier University business management degree.

In year one, you will cover core business subjects, including business fundamentals, AI, theories of managing and motivating people, business accounting, the economy, marketing, IT business applications and human resource management.

Entry Requirements

1 relevant Higher, such as English, Administration and IT, Business Management or Modern Studies; or a relevant Foundation Apprenticeship.
