You will study International Business, French or Spanish, and a business subject of your choice. Your choice of business subjects includes Business Analysis and Technology, Business Enterprise, Economics, Finance, Hospitality and Tourism Management, Human Resource Management, and Marketing.

In Year 1 you will study a range of business subjects along with an introduction to international business, before choosing a business subject to study from Year 2 onwards.

You will also take the Management Development Programme in Years 1 to 3. This connecting module brings together learning from your other subjects to work on real business problems in student project teams.

In Year 4 you will complete an international experience which is normally a period of work or study in the language you are studying.

In Year 5 you will continue studying your chosen business subject and language, in addition to undertaking a Masters dissertation.

Entry Requirements

2025 entry requirements

Standard entry:
4 or 5 Highers at AAAB or AABBB (first sitting) or 6 Highers at AAABBB (two sittings) including English and the language to be studied plus Maths or Applications of Maths at National 5 at B.

Widening access entry:
4 Highers at ABBB (first sitting) or 5 Highers at AABBB (two sittings) including English and the language to be studied plus Maths or Applications of Maths at National 5 at B.

A Foundation Apprenticeship is accepted in place of a non-essential Higher.
