Content

Year 1:
In the first year of the programme you will study both the external and internal environment of the organisation to provide an integrated understanding of how businesses work. In addition you can choose from a range of introductory specialist options including administration, business finance, HRM, marketing, financial services and retail. You will also be required to develop your key transferable skills including communication and IT.

Year 2:
In Year 2 you will build your knowledge and understanding of the world of business. You will examine more closely the operation of business and related systems. You can choose to continue to specialise by choosing level 2 options that build on your introductory options or you can opt for a more generic route.

Year 3:
In Year 3 the core subjects are more strategic in focus and you can continue to refine your area of specialisation. However you can continue to maintain flexibility and choose from the wide range of options available. There is a greater focus on independent learning and you would be required to undertake a work based project which allows you to put your skills and knowledge into practice.
