Starting salaries for managers in Scotland tend to be in the range £22,000 to £30,000 a year. Salaries for experienced managers cover a wide range and rise to between £38,000 and £50,000 a year. Many senior managers earn £65,000 a year or more. You might get extra income from a bonus scheme, or benefits such as private health insurance and a company car.
