Why Study a Foundation Apprenticeship?

Studying for a Foundation Apprenticeship gives you the chance to combine work based qualifications such as Scottish Vocational Qualifications (SVQs) or National Certificate (NC) with practical work experience in industry.

Who Can Apply?

The Foundation Apprenticeship (FA) in Civil Engineering is for pupils to begin in S5 and to complete in S6.

Entry Requirements

3 subjects at National 5 including English and Maths. Some colleges may ask for a science or technological subject. It is recommended that you work towards Higher Maths by the end of S6.
