This one-year course has been designed to further enhance your knowledge and experience within a professional and commercial context. Our student-centered approach and industry standard environment, will provide you with the opportunity to apply and test your skills within a series of self-directed projects, delivered in collaboration with external partners and industry.

Collaborative and self-directed projects will allow you to expand upon your practical and technical
abilities through studio and location-based activities, centred around commercial clients. This enables
you to develop and build a professional portfolio of work.

Critical and Contextual Studies activities will explore the work of key practitioners and further enhance your understanding of photography within historical, cultural and economic contexts.

Our Professional Design Studies activities will help develop your entrepreneurial outlook and awareness of the professional environment, to support you in the development of your own business.

The projects undertaken will test your intellectual and creative application of ideas, and you will be
introduced to new business concepts to develop your abilities in team-based and individual projects.

The Final Major Project is a substantial body of image-based work within a specialist area of your
choice, allowing you to develop a professional portfolio, suitable for promotion within industry and
public exhibition.

Entry Requirements

2022 entry requirements:
Relevant HND. Suitable applicants will be invited to attend an interview and present a portfolio of work.
