City Campus
If you're interested in learning about photography then an NC Photography Course is your perfect starting point. It allows you to develop a wide variety of skills in a range of very hands-on projects, in photographic studios, on location and in a traditional black and white darkroom. You'll have access to new, well-resourced photographic studios and be able to develop your creative ideas using a wide variety of digital and film cameras, lighting equipment and specialist kit under the supervision of experienced and friendly lecturers.
You'll learn, in a very practical way, in workshops designed to give you as much time and support as possible in gaining a load of useful skills. As your course goes on you'll have opportunities of working on photographic projects with other student groups across Scotland’s largest college as well as working with classmates, gaining valuable experience for future study and work and most importantly a strong personal portfolio. You'll also be encouraged to participate in national competitions and you'll show your work in the College showcase exhibition at the end of your studies.
