You will develop skills in various techniques ceramics, jewellery, textiles and art glass. You will develop design and drawing skills and understand the practical applications of various media, through the creative process. You will be able to develop a portfolio of work in 2D and 3D and is suitable for anyone wishing an introduction to creative processes and contemporary craft.

There is a strong ethos of ethical making and sustainability, which will be embedded into your learning.

What you study:

Sculpture techniques; Exploratory media handling; Sketchbook development; Jewellery; Textiles; Ceramics; and Art glass.

Entry Requirements

English and Art and Design at National 5, or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 5. Portfolio of work is required. All applicants will be invited for interview.
