This advanced course will give you the chance to undertake diverse photography projects using industry-standard equipment and technology.

You will be able to make decisions as you progress about how you will apply these skills for industry, whether this is in a commercial or creative arts vocation.

You’ll also gain a true insight into the photography industry with visits to professional studios in London and Europe’s largest photographic fair in Paris.

Subjects Include:
Portraiture and social photography; Studio still life; Dark room; Applied scientific photography; Documentary and corporate; Fashion; Journalism; Personal projects; Context of photography; Creative industries and Exhibition and presentation.

Entry Requirements

2 Highers including English, Art and Design or Photography; or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 6.

Progression Routes

Possible 2nd or 3rd Year entry to relevant degree course at university. This course is part of our Degree Link programme, meaning that on successful completion of the course you could progress to a related degree at Robert Gordon University.
