You will develop your skills in Art & Design and prepare a portfolio to showcase the skills and techniques you will explore towards your individual tastes and style. You will develop your creative art or design solutions, informed by an understanding and awareness of contemporary practices and issues.

Subjects Include:
Drawing (including life drawing); Painting, composition and colour; Sketchbook development and personal projects; Creative textile development (Aberdeen); Media development; Printmaking and mixed media; 3D design; Digital media; Sculpture (Aberdeen); Portfolio Building; Art and Design Contextual Studies.

Entry Requirements

4 subjects at National 5 including English and Art and Design; or Introduction to Art and Design (Level 5); or other relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 5.
