This course offers you the opportunity to explore traditional and innovative practice, in a broad area of Art and Design subjects. Via a blend of studio practice, workshops, study visits and group critiques you will be encouraged to develop your own creative process, through the production of sketchbook research and development, culminating in finished artworks. Through a series of projects you will build a portfolio of work and the year will conclude with an exhibition of your work.

Observational Drawing, Developmental Drawing, Life Drawing, Creative Process, Art and Design Context, Sculpture, Photography, Digital Imaging, Graphic Design Techniques, Public Art, Printmaking, Mixed Media, Portfolio Production, Art and Design Project, Graded Unit 1.

Entry Requirements

2 Highers preferably English and Art and Design; or Advanced Art and Design Portfolio (Level 6); or other relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 6. Portfolio of work and interview.
