This course allows you to study a variety of creative arts including life drawing, painting, 2D and 3D design skills, printmaking, and mixed media. During the course, you will develop a substantial portfolio and also take part in an exhibition of your own work, which will all help prepare for employment or your next step to Higher Education. This course is suitable for school leavers who have studied Higher Art and Design as well as adult returners who have considerable art experience.

You will study:
Creative project for artists and designers; Development drawing portfolio; Art and design context – personal investigation; Art and design: advanced project; Art and design presentation; Public art
Reflective practice; Painting exploratory techniques.

Relevant HNC.
