Powered by creative use of AI and professional design tools, you’ll master creative content generation, create striking and persuasive visuals . You will build a powerful, industry ready portfolio towards a career in design.

From short form video e.g. Tik Tok, Reels and YouTube, to advertising, promotion and merchandise, this new Content Creation course will give you work-ready skills that set you up for success. You’ll learn how to decode briefs like a pro, create inspiring visuals, and turn ideas into strong, creative concepts.

You’ll level up your layout, composition, and visual storytelling, working confidently with still and moving images and creative use of Artificial Intelligence.

You’ll generate ideas and translate them into content with real purpose - not just guesswork. You’ll stay organised, build a portfolio you’ll be proud of, present and pitch your ideas with confidence, and use feedback to push your work further.

Entry Requirements

3 subjects at National 5 including English, or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 5. Interview and portfolio.

Progression Routes

Successful completion of this course guarantees entry to the college's HNC/ HND Visual Communication course where you'll develop your knowledge and skills to a higher level.
