Portree Campus, North Uist
The course attracts a diverse group of learners locally and further afield, and is made up of younger students moving on from school as well as those returning to education. With small group sizes and the input of a number of specialised tutors, the learning experience is full of new challenges and creative opportunities.
In North Uist, the course is based at Taigh Chearsabhagh Museum and Arts Centre.
Units include:
Drawing; Painting; Sculpture; Digital Media; Exploratory Media Handling; Project; Sketchbook Development; Contextual Studies; Printmaking; Creative Industries (3 Units).
3 subjects at National 5, English and Art and Design preferred. Entry subject to interview and portfolio of work.
