This course is designed for individuals at all skill levels who want to develop their photography skills. Whether you're a beginner or have some experience, you'll learn techniques for natural photography, including portraiture, advertising, and experimental styles. Guided by instructors and peers, you'll build a portfolio for potential career advancement.

You will study camera techniques, editing techniques, outdoor photography and studio photography.

You'll also study through the National Progression Awards in Photography from SQA and you'll prepare for a portfolio and exhibition.

Entry Requirements

3 subjects at National 4 including English, or Certificate: Photography, or other relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 4. Portfolio.

Progression Routes

Upon successful completion you can join Intermediate Certificate: Photography or Intermediate Certificate: Broadcast Media.
