On this HND programme, you will immerse yourself in the world of visual communication and digital media design. You’ll develop essential design skills while building technical expertise in motion graphics, graphic design, animation, UX design, and digital content production. You will work on studio-based projects and respond to project briefs that challenge you to apply design thinking across a range of digital media formats.

You'll study:

Design fundamentals; New media design; Motion Graphics, 2D/3D animation and Visual Effects; User experience (UX) Design; Digital Content Creation; Digital Video / Audio production; Portfolio Preparation; Branding.

Entry Requirements

Higher Art and Design or Graphic Communication plus National 5 English, or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 6. You will be asked to provide examples of your art and design work, and will be invited to interview.
