Graphic Designers and Visual Communicators work creatively to design products or content that carries a message to others. Social Media, Digital Advertising Displays, Posters, Calendars, Packaging, T-Shirts Mugs and Coasters are just some of outputs that need a good graphic design.

Bands promoting their new music, Manufacturers promoting their new product range, entrepreneurs promoting their products or talent and skills all need a Graphic Designer who is a problem solver with a creative flair for colour, shape, typography, textures to help with the Branding and Imaging

You will study:
Digital Imaging; Creative Project; Creative Industries; Typography; Graphic Design; Mixed Media; Creative Process; Web Design; Design Production; Typography Project; Graphic Design Project; Digital Imaging.

Entry Requirements

1 relevant Higher plus National 5 English, or Advanced Certificate: Photography, or other relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 6. Interview and portfolio.

Progression Routes

Relevant HND or degree programme.
