This course is ideal for those wishing to pursue a professional photography career. Practical by nature, you will learn and develop skills in our dedicated photography studios alongside our experienced, supportive and friendly staff. The college's studios are well-equipped with lighting and photographic equipment, allowing you to explore your creativity and develop your portfolio.

With a focus on your future professional career, you will develop your independence, organisation and time management skills. Throughout the course, you will work on live projects and have the opportunity to take up freelance projects. The course will help you find employment opportunities, including preparing for a freelance career.

Entry Requirements

1 Higher; preferably English or Art and Design, or other relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 6. A portfolio of your work should be shown at interview.
