Applicants select from either Digital Art (graphic design & illustration) or Animation. Both routes allow learners to develop their creative thinking and design skills through a series of exciting projects. Emphasis is placed on developing your creativity, independent thinking, and organisation skills.

You will develop understanding in areas such as: research; sketchbook working; idea generation and concept development; drawing skills; research methods and contextual studies exploring the work of relevant artists/designers. The Animation stream focuses on 2D/3D animation, games and VR art.

HNC Computer Arts and Design (Animation). Interview. Portfolio.

Progression Routes

2nd or 3rd year entry to a relevant degree programme at university
