Creative ideas are at the heart of our Foundation in Graphic Design and Illustration course. Through sketchbook development, and following the design process on a variety of briefs, you will gain an introduction to the practices of Graphic Design and Illustration.

Label and Packaging Design; Sketchbook Development; Software Skills; Children's Book Illustration; Typography; Illustration; Magazine Design; Digital Media; Photography - First Steps; Photography - Artistic Development; Photography Digital Imaging; Corporate Identity; Design Project.

Entry Requirements

National 5 English and Art and Design or Graphic Communication or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 5. Interview.

Progression Routes

HNC/D Graphic Design or HND Illustration.
