The course is based on project and studio work and covers fashion drawing, design development, pattern drafting and manufacturing skills.
The course covers:
Fashion design development; Fashion illustration; Fashion forecasting and research; CAD patterns; Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator; Commercial design; Pattern development; Industrial sewing techniques.
2 Highers, English and Art and Design preferred, or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 6. Interview. A portfolio of work may be requested if you do not have Higher Art and Design.
2nd or 3rd year entry to a relevant degree programme at another university.
A Modern Apprenticeship within the textile sector.
