Content

The Floristry Level 1 Award is aimed at those wishing to work in floristry but who have no prior experience. If you are interested in working with flowers and foliage and would like to use your creative skills to learn techniques to use them to enhance a range of occasions, this course could be for you.

This is a City & Guilds Qualification; the units cover a range of practical designs for weddings, funerals and gift arrangements. These are constructed by hand tying, wiring or constructed in floral foam, a range of which will be gift-wrapped. You will learn how to identify a range of flowers and foliage in common commercial use, how to care for them and condition them to be ready for sale.
