This is a challenging course, where you'll study towards an up-to-date qualification covering many of the skills that are in demand for a range of different careers in the software development / programming sector of the Computer Industry.

These include developing skills in C#, VB.NET, Java, Object Oriented Design, Object Oriented Programming, SQL Programming and Project Management.

Entry Requirements

2 Highers plus 3 subjects at National 5 including Computing Science; or NQ Computing; or other relevant national qualification at SCQF Level 6. Entry subject to interview.

Progression Routes

Successful students can progress on to year three of BSc (Hons) Computing, Internet Systems Development, or Web Systems Development at Glasgow Caledonian University.
