This dynamic course offers an exciting opportunity to deepen your knowledge and experience in the world of software development. This second year programme is more project focussed than the HNC. The main areas in this year are Object Oriented design and programming in Java, Dynamic Web Development with PHP and MariaDB, Data Structures with C++, some Data Flow and Cloud computing too.

Topics Include:
Object Oriented Programming and design; Advanced web scripting; Dynamically generated websites; Data structures; Cloud computing; Data flow; Graded Unit 2 (Project).

Entry Requirements

HNC Computing (Software Development). Interview.
