Want to be airline-ready in just one year? You’ll be able to fly into a career with this practical and interesting course for aspiring cabin crew, designed in partnership with leading airlines. You’ll build your confidence and practical skills while training in our mock cabin, which uses state-of-the-art technology to give you hands-on experience of aircraft safety, emergency procedures and customer service.

This course also includes a residential visit to Manchester for emergency training at a specialist centre. By the end of it, you’ll be ready for take-off, and should feel prepared to ace any airline’s interview and assessment.

Over the course you will cover:
Introduction to Airline/Aviation Operations; Airline Health, Safety and Security; Airline Emergency Procedures (including water survival techniques); Cabin Crew Room Duties; Role of Air Cabin Crew; Preparation for Employment as Air Cabin Crew; Airport Ground Operations; An Introduction to the Tourism Industry.

Entry Requirements

2 subjects at National 5, preferably English, or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 5. You need to be a minimum height of 5"2 (1.59cm), have a valid passport and be fluent in spoken and written English.
